My gallery will be participating in the Nihonbashi Antique Festival which begins on May 10. This annual event features 10 selected dealers from across the country. Each year, we choose a specific theme; we have titled our display “Hakushido’s study room.” We have prepared a selection of antique books related to antiques, as well as small, elegant objects befitting the study of a book lover.
Hakushido was a legendary bookstore that once operated in a certain ward of Tokyo. With my own personal homage, I aim to recreate and reconstruct Hakushido’s study room.
Dates: May 10 (Sun) – 21 (Thu)
Hours: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM (until 6:00 PM on the final day)
